Here we go again with magic numbers and my scrappy pre cuts. I also added in the mix adding tape strips which I made from snowball remnants. Easy to put together and all fabrics designs and colours are welcome. I called this block “Arrowed in” as all triangles in my tapes point to the centre of the block. If you don’t have scraps on adding tape, you can substitute with some bold design fabric cut to strips. It will make all blocks cohesive and add something your eye can follow. Make a quilt, cushion cover or maybe a patchwork tote? Happy sewing!

I have always been a messy creator. It didn’t bother me how many things piled up on the floor and shelfs. I had time… When my kids arrived, crafting became a luxury time. It took me a while to work out routine which allowed me to continue my journey as a creator. It involved minimalism in my wardrobes and house but also, introducing organisation to the space I was working in. Removing re-work, planning preparation, working in batches. Sounds technical but it really worked. I have shared in this video number of storage solutions and some of the things I do, to make sure I have time for what I love doing – sewing. Perhaps one or two tips will help you too. Happy sewing!

My new pattern – Chasing a Tail – is an ultimate scrap buster using all odd strings in two sizes. It also has a fun detail added to make it special and you can easily customise it to any size of the quilt you need. It is easy to make but very effective. Pattern is available for those who likes written instructions, full of pictures and diagrams. It was and adventure to write it and happy to share with you all. Happy sewing!
