I am getting addicted to improv. Absolutely love it now, since I have made few different patterns and managed to work out the easiest way to make them without pinning anything. It can be easy and fun, especially when you get to make it from colourful, cheery fabrics with children’s motives, AND you get to donate it! All goodies in one package. Happy sewing!

If you need a quick quilt, you need big blocks. But it doesn’t mean it has to be boring or that you will need to worry about if seams will line up. Improv is an answer. Easy, quick, fun Christmas project for a quilt to be donated to Linus group. Great for any size fabrics as you can mix and match size of the blocks using magic number method. Still need to decide on final layout but already thinking of making another one using some other themed fabrics. Happy sewing!

After I made first quilted scrappy cover, I couldn’t stop myself. They are quite addictive but also it is such a wonderful idea for a gift for any occasion. Weather you use it for a notebook or a book, it will look magical on the shelf or your bag. Instant decoration and it doesn’t matter what is inside. I also used on some embroidery thread to add extra design and these are my favourites… I used various types of fabrics scraps, mix of new and upcycled from clothes, bedding etc. It all nicely blends together in this project. Happy sewing!
