I made a quilted coat a while ago and I had quite a lot of cut outs from the project. I made a vest from some of them but still had quite a lot left, smaller pieces, and I just needed to find a way to use them up. It took a while but it finally came to me – I can make a fake trapunto! I had some plain fabric blocks in my recent design and decided to test the look and it worked well. It looks great on its own and in ad mix with other blocks. Easy to make, and such effective. And most importantly, I used all my last scraps. Happy sewing!
