Made sustainably from scraps of new and pre-loved fabrics in different colours. Binding has been finished by hand using embroidery floss.
It could be a perfect present for someone for a special occasion.
I only made one, you will receive one you see on the pictures.
Bottom has been boxed and it will stand when filled up with items. Size approximately 9 inch wide and 6 inches high when standing.
Materials and care
Remnants of cottons and cottons blends, fleece batting and lightweight interfacing has been used in construction. Machine washable in cold with similar colours and tumble dry on delicate. For best results hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent, then dried flat and press on reverse side.
Process
Most of my fabrics are from charity or second-hand stores. This is supplemented by fabrics I can find in my local Scrapstore. It is a mix of recycled and new fabrics. For that reason, I can offer unique items. Either one off or in small series.
All fabrics are lovingly matched and stitched together to provide final item. Once its completed, I then machine wash product. It adds the vintage crinkle (patchwork type of items) but also to ensure item is clean of any debris or additional products used during construction.
Packaging and postage
Postage costs are based on the weight and size and calculated in the basket at the checkout. Orders in UK over £50 postage is free. Currently not set for postage abroad, but please contact me if you require this service and I will enquire locally regarding postage and agree with you directly.
Let’s go green where we can. There are so many packaging materials we can re-use, so if I happen to have a box or envelope still in excellent condition, I received previously myself, I will use it to send package to you.
