You never know where you will find inspiration for a new design. This was one of those times when unexpectedly simple view of rows of chairs in front of me, realized in this new block and pattern. I used loads of my string scraps and a pile of solids in the process but you can easily replace these with some nice florals or geometrical fabrics. Or even some nice crumbs. Scraps were put together in no particular order hence it makes great stash buster – everything goes. I set it as per my inspiration, but you can experiment. It can produce so many other layouts which makes it very versatile quilt idea.
